In 3 Browne during science week we had the task to research a famous scientist, ‘Robert Hooke’.
During our computing session we were able to use our research skills to find out about Robert Hooke. During our research we were able to discover the extraordinary science work he did and many other important facts.
During our art lesson we were able to look at some of Robert Hooke’s drawings. Robert Hooke drew these insects by looking at them under his famous microscope.
Later, in 3 Browne we had a go at trying to draw some of the insects Robert Hooke had drew. When drawing we had to make sure we used our shading and mark making skills.
Finally, as a whole class we were able to bring together all our work and create a poster for Robert Hooke. The Poster included our own drawings of the insects and some of the interesting facts we had discovered during our computing lesson.
