Well, if you do, 2D can explain how to do it! Confused…Let me explain.
This year 2D have been working extremely hard in Computing this year. Their final project resulted in a complete script of two characters having a dance battle against each other complete with speech, movement and sound. We started with practical activities to introduce algorithms (yes we know what algorithms are!) and then built up our knowledge of these through the Scratch software.
They wrote their own scripts and now know the importance of computational thinking. They have had to take responsibility for thinking through their algorithms and code to identify and fix errors which is an important part of learning to think and work like programmers.
They used complex scratch language to create sprites, backgrounds, teach them how to speak and react to each other all through coding! And they’re only 7! We are very proud and impressed with their hard work. Well done 2D!
